Think you have a business worthy of review as a Wise Choice? Tell Andy about it.
Each applicant must meet my standards of service excellence. Those are multi-faceted, but they include:
BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ACCREDITATION, HISTORY & RATING
This does not mean a Wise Choice must be a member of the BBB, although that’s a plus. It means the applicant must carry a Better Business Bureau rating of an “A” or “A+”. The applicant must have an excellent record of addressing consumer complaints. It must also provide a link to its BBB record.
EXEMPLARY STATE/LOCAL/INDUSTRY LICENSE STATUS & DISCIPLINARY HISTORY
This would include the applicant’s county/municipal business tax license, state incorporation or corporate status and industry license (if applicable). The applicant will provide that information, and I will verify it.
LOCAL OWNERSHIP AND/OR OPERATOR
This standard reflects that local ownership and/or operation tends to be more accountable to local consumers.
LENGTH OF SERVICE
The applicant will prove its length of service to the Mid-South or Greater Memphis area.
SPECIAL CONSUMER PROTECTIONS, PROMISES, WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES
What services or products does the applicant offer that set it apart from its local competition?
Please include your responses to that criteria, as well as your name and contact information and the Wise Choice candidate’s name and contact information. It is my hope either you or your nominee is a Wise Choice!
